Knorr-Bremse is committed to sustainable governance, focused on the United Nations Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In our Brazillian plant located in Itupeva- São Paulo, we are close to the Japi Ridge - an Environmental Protection Area, meaning a daily interaction with fauna and flora and a constant concern for their protection.
Our efforts includes the eco-design of our plant through the sustainable use of water, energy and space, the responsible disposal of waste, certifying ourselves as “Zero Landfill” since May 2020. The conduct of fauna and flora conservation projects, such as large-scale plantations on our site and support for the rehabilitation of wild animals through partnerships with local institutions. Under a global strategy, we envision the full engagement of our operations with the best environmental continues practices.
